Hopefully if I post this in the blog, it wont cause a stir.
I had a very long talk with Maria today. (With all we talk, and know about each other, we should be serious or married by now, lol),.
She told me about a friend of hers that had a vasectomy, and then asked me if I've had one. (The answer to that latter question is no). She then asked me to tell her something very personal about myself, so I told her about my past tax issues, and that this is why I don't have a big job history. Surprisingly, it didn't scare her away.
I keep hoping that I'm going to break her down, and get her to take a chance with me. For right now, I have to just accept what is. Since we have our convos in a public place, and haven't been intimate, or kissed yet, I cant tell her anything about feet, tickling, unless we actually get physical, for fear she would say "WTF", and get scared away. She did let me give her a hug and kiss on the cheek today, which is progress.
I have no idea if shes "just a friend", or this is an extremely slow boat, to the beginning of a beautiful relationship with a wonderful woman. She knows I think she;s an amazing person, and I know she likes me too.
I have no choice at this point but to go on with my life, and see where this goes. She has my number, but has yet to give me hers. Hopefully, at some point, she will be comfortable enough to call me, and take the next step.
