I haven't made blog posts lately, but this one makes me happy to write.
I was in NJ last weekend celebrating my friend Adam's bday. We stayed at his parents house, and went to a wonderful Italian restaurant. on Sat night. On Sunday, Adam, his friend Peter, and I, went to a very nice Chinese place in Tenafly.
Adam's mom just called me. I've posted on here about the on and off seizures I've had. It's likely stress. She told me she is concerned, and wants me to see a neurologist. Two years ago, when I had the serious seizure while my mom and I were in NJ during her treatment, I saw a neurologist, and he told me the seizure I had was pure stress. Nonetheless, I'm seeing my dad tomorrow. I'm going to tell him that I want to call our internist, to get him to recommend a neurologist. According to Sheila. (Adam's mom's name is Sheila too, just like my mom;'s was) she said health is more important than anything else. I know she's right.
I just called and emailed Adam to tell him how I appreciate his family's concern.
