Last night during the show, we had yet another first for TMF Radio. A bit over half way through our show, my cat decided it was time for her to have her kittens. Unfortunately her choice was made to have them right in the middle of my bed. This was not acceptable to me. So I had to mute the line and let Rob loose on his own for a while as I found a big clothes basket and some towels for her to stretch out in.
By the end of the show, she had popped out two little ones. The first was a little white one, which happens to be the runt and a female, and a black one which is male. Momma cat is a Manx, which is the tailless type of cat, and the first two kittens are as well.
A couple hours later I was getting kinda worried that momma cat was still showing that she had kittens inside her and she hadn't delivered them yet. But at about 1:30am she squirted the last two out. Both white and both with nice long tails. No idea what sex they are because by this time there was just a little pile of fuzzballs in there and I didn't want to dig around in it.
Sooooo since Rob just called me and bugged me to get some pictures up...here are a couple. We're going to do a little contest for naming these critters and will choose winners on the show next week. So get those ideas rolling.
