Due to some stuff going on in my personal life, as well as some recent circumstances, I probably won't be on the TMF, or at least not posting or chatting, for a while. I've begun to find my time spent on the forum to be more negative than positive, and with what's going on right now in my everyday life, I really need to stay upbeat. I've made some decisions I regret, made some dumb posts, tried to argue some futile points, and it's honestly just stressing me out more than it is helping.
I've found other places that are more suited to my tastes, where I tend to get along better and feel more positive about discussions. I'm not saying the TMF is some horrible hellhole, it was a forum home for me for over 2 years, it's just that there are other places I prefer, where there's less racism, sexism, and general creepy factor. I'm not going to go on a rant about that. That would be childish and not accomplish anything. Instead, I'd like to talk about some good things about TMF and thank some people.
Special thanks to Beckers for being one of the first to actually talk to me in chat way back in 2012, back when the room was still that weird beige shade. We made a dumb movie and I felt more accepted afterwards, and you're still a great friend to this day. Thanks to people like BroadwayMaybe, brad1701, TicklishAngel52, horriblyticklish, tendersilky, and Excess for making trivia nights always a fun experience. A shoutout to AnnieHall/chicago for helping make the chat a better place while she modded, and generally just being great to talk to. Thanks to Fran for helping me out when I was having relationship issues. Thanks to Lavie for nerding out about Theater with me for hours. Thanks to everyone of my friends for being awesome to talk to. And, of course, thanks to The Pear, number one impersonator of fruit and my personal "talk about anything" partner for over a year now.
I'm not leaving the internet or anything, you can still catch me on other forums or on Yahoo (knicks255, shockingly), I'm just taking a step back from here. Thanks, everyone. See you around 🙂.
