I've already posted about the situation with the lawyer who is the head of the 100 plus man law firm, and our meeting yesterday, not to mention the contacts he has.. Simply put.. if even part of this firm signs with us, and we get their contacts.. it will be a Grand Slam Home Run deal with potential up to the mountain.
Today, I went to lunch at the place Kristen works at. She did her usual "Hi, Mitch", and asked me how things are. To which I just said.. "Fine", and she went on her way.
This situation is completely different than the one I had with Maria. Maria and I had a long period of personal chat before I even asked her out. I knew about, her, her background.. her family, and her age.
I know nothing about Kristen. I don't know her interests, where she lives.. and.. her age.
I'm a very, very bad judge of ages when it comes to women.
Maybe she really is too busy to stop for a real chat with me.
The possibilities if I ask her out.
Rejection because she doesn't like me.
Rejection because she has a bf.
She accepts, and I'm saddled with a situation where I have to take her out, before the most important business situation of my life unfolds.
The counselor I used to see at college during my parents divorce, used to go mad with my excuses for not asking women out. I would use, work, my senior thesis, etc etc, etc.
I've already been to the place Kristen works at three times this week, so I don't want to go back there tomorrow.
Then I think.. What happens, if she's.. 25?
I've posted on here about my thousands of handwritten tickle bandit stories that I have, including two about Kristen.
GRRRRRRR! Why now? Why does it all have to be so complicated?
If Kristen accepts me, but my deal falls through.. what would really be more important to me at this point?
If only I could get word that the mega deal is happening soon. Not likely. It could take,.. months.. if at all.
The counselor at my college would want to kick my ass. She doesn't know about the deal I'm working on, but I plan to write and tell her if it goes through. If I was like to her "By the way, this waitress keeps flirting with me, and I've done nothing about it", she would want to wring my neck.
I honestly don't know what to do.
