I just saw a post on Facebook, that shocked me.
Apparently, Jay, my mentor, who was responsible for Aflac's patience with me, and them not firing me when I was having trouble passing the insurance exam.. has left the NY office to join Trevor in Chicago.
While I wish Jay all the best.. this news saddens me. because I genuinely like him as both a person, and a co worker. His laid back attitude.. is so helpful.. to contrast my high strung personality.; Additionally, he has been very helpful, in diffusing conflicts with Keith and me.
WHY WHY WHY does this happen.
I feel sick. It seems too good to be true to think that the law firm is going to sign. Guaranteed, knowing my luck, something will happen to fuck it up.
