I've posted about the situation with the 100 man law firm. I just got a huge wake up call.
I e-mailed Keith, my supervisor, and gently asked him if it would be okay if I sent the attorney we are dealing with, a polite e-mail, to try and move this along more quickly. Keith gave me a reality check on that idea, and told me that "To do so shows a tone of impatience, and entitlement". He gave me the "Rome wasn't built overnight" analogy, told me to let him take care of it, and said that he doesn't plan to contact the lawyer about this matter again for "At least another week or two". I';m guessing most likely, after Labor Day. Sigh! I know I'm going to have to be patient. It's just. it's been more than two months since our first meeting with the attorney, counting the botched meeting last week. I just wanted to move this along to some definite resolution. Hopefully, with Keith's plan, even if it takes.. another month or two.. the end result will be a signing, and a new very big client.
