Image of the Day

Today I saw a young girl dressed as Snow White (for no apparent reason), eating a sausage roll.

It cheered me up.

That is all.

Here's to that chemical cocktail, and what it can do.

Hang in there Jo! Hope that feeling of control comes back soon....I can relate, I've been there! I was on Celexa for a few months after my mom died and it did help and it also helped to just talk out my feelings, something I'm not really good at. If you ever need an ear, just let me know :twohugs:

Don't let your mind control you. Remember, you're in charge. Beat it with a stick if you have to! :dom:

Ok, bad joke. Hang in there, sweetie. Always here for you. :twohugs:

I know how you feel baby. I've been on aniexty meds since I was roughly 16 years old. And I tried to get off of them so many times, but when I would stop taking them I would really hate the person I was without them. And it sucks that I really didn't have any control over my emotions or aniexty. No matter how much I would try to talk myself through it, I would still flip out. I'm really independent and to have to depend on something such as a drug to keep my mind at ease, it's a horrible feeling. You know that if you need to talk or vent, you can call me. I'm here for you no matter what, just like most folks here. I love you baby.

Thanks everyone. :redheart:

He's putting me back on Zoloft, so hopefully everything else will ebb away in a little time.

Important thing about antidepressants is to realize they're not a quick fix. They're there to help clear your head of the negative shit so you can fix what's causing the depression/anxiety in the first place.

With my PTSD, the prozac helped a lot, but if I hadn't moved out of my mom's place, I would still have to take that shit. And feeling like your life is dictated by tiny green and white pills doesn't make you feel all that great emotionally either.

I'm not trying to offend or insult your intelligence. We're kind of the same, so I probably have not said anything you don't already know first hand.

Hope you feel better soon.
