I'm sorry to hear all of that Ray. I'm not even sure what to say. Good luck with the school though. Some teachers (and in this case, principals), seem to forget that school is almost like a second home for kids and those kids are *their* kids for however long they're in class and school for. They should be treated like their own children. With love, care and respect. That sucks. I hope set an example for anyone else to follow.
As for everything else...well, because you have the friends you have here, in my naivety (I have the mind of a six year old. Ask Jo. 😀), I'd like to believe that everything you mentioned - your mom, your brother, etc. - and how it's turned out, means you quite possibly have the largest support group out of anyone you know that's always here for you. That makes you the strongest out of everyone else all of that effects. You're needed by many, I'm sure. If you weren't, you wouldn't have the friends and loved ones you do have off and on the forum.
We're all strong. It's just sometimes difficult to remember.
Hi Ray. I know we don't know each other very well but your story touched me. Just remember that no matter how tough or rough things can get, you can get through them just from taking it one day at a time. Turning to your friends was the right thing to do 🙂
Slacker always seem to put things way better than I ever could, I very much agree with what he said. What an asshole principal! Hope you get him good.
Also:
Last night was the breaking point. I almost walked out on my wife of 10 years and came dangerously close to swallowing a bottle of pain pills due to the unclear thinking mode of my brain.
The ONLY thing that stopped me was chatting with members here in the radio chatroom during the playlist show I did last night.
Seriously Ray. If you ever again even kid about offing yourself, I will bust you in the chops the next time I see you. I ain't shittin' you .
It seems hopeless at times and Murphy's Law piles the worst things on a person at the worst times. It happens to all of us. No one can blame you for feeling down. You've been handed a lot and it just got too heavy for a short time. Now you will get stronger and more focused to take care of these new problems. You have proven to be a tough man with all that's happened in the last three years. Lean on Tracy when you need to and remember she chose to be in this with you. And if you need to talk you know where I am and how to get a hold of me.
My knowledge of special education isn't totally 100%, but I remember that if you child is diagnosed with some behavioral or mental disability, there can be a manifestation hearing. Ask for one. Does he have an IEP or a 504? That could help... They are also entitled to get some kind of educational services while being suspended.
In addition to sasaxrah's comment, a child on the autism spectrum should not be disciplined for their actions, particularly not suspended. There are a number of autism groups you can contact who will probably have a caniption, and come running to the school with lawyers in tow.
I`m so sorry to hear of your troubles, Venray. Hopefully the doctor will straighten things out with your son`s medication so he can function better in school. I`m sure you must feel like the walls are caving in on you, but you need to stay strong. Hang in there.🙂

QFT. You see the phone? Pick it up and lets talk. We can't wax poetic about this support system we have with each other if you don't lean on it and let it provide comfort. We love you brother, and your family, because we are family.
He does have an IEP and I have contacted the superintendent of schools who it so happens I graduated high school with.....
This isnt over by any means..It wasnt just this but everything that led up to nasty feelings last night mostly due to being on pain meds and sleep deprivation...
I iz good to go now and again owe it to having fun with friends here from the forum..
Cars...your "turd" pic in my visitor messages was enough to make me laugh again...srsly...you did more for me than you know....
Daddy? I love you more than I can even describe to you. You're part of my heart. It saddens me to know you are going through so much. but seriously like Derek said. if you ever think about offing yourself again, I swear I will become a freaking ghost and haunt your ass forever! Were here for you. Pick of the phone, send an IM, a pm anything. We will help you stay strong.
I know you can get through this. You're strong and you are not alone.
