I don't have very many friends left from high school and I didn't make any friends at college ... so these days have been pretty lonely. It sucks when you know there is no one you can call up when you want to get out of your house and have some fun.
But that's not really the point of this blog.
My best friend has not really be treating me like a best friend lately. We fight like normal friends do ... but there are times when I just don't get it. We've recently had a fight about how we'll make plans and then she doesn't call or anything to confirm it.
When this happened a few weeks ago I sent her a message on Fagbook telling her that I didn't appreciate how she makes plans with me and then blows me off like she forgot ... when she really didn't at all. She was just too lazy to pick up the phone and tell me plans have changed. She has done it numerous times before and she KNOWS it bugs me. I hate hate HATE when people tell me they are going to call and then they don't. It's so freakin rude. So, she knows that annoys the living HELL out me ... but she still continues to do it. After our last fight about it she promised she would never do it again. Guess what? She did it again today.
Last night I talked to her on the phone and she said she would call me around noonish to make plans. No call. Around 6 I texted her: "So I guess we aren't hanging out today since you didn't bother to call or anything." And she replied, "Yeah my sisters want to hang out tonight." And then I replied back, "Thanks for the heads up." That was it. She didn't text back or anything. I know if I wouldn't have texted her she wouldn't have even TOLD me that she changed plans. I mean first off that's bitchy as hell to make plans with me and then just change her mind.
I just think that's so rude to do that to someone. I just don't get it. I would never do that to her. I've never done that to her, actually. If she can't treat me like a friend then there is no way in hell I am dealing with her inconsiderate and selfish style anymore. It's so immature.
