Your Grandma isn't perfect, and you love her anyway. I don't think she meant to hurt you. Perhaps she just saw you hurting, and her first response was anger because she loves you.

None of what happened was your fault. He made you feel horrible, and your Grandma probably wants to ring his neck. Keep your chin up, and remember that although she may be clumsy and lack tact, she loves you.

Parents and loved ones know you, and they want what's best for you, even if it might come out a little wrong at times. I'm sure your Grandma still sees the "little girl" that she remembers. You saw what mattered in him, and tried to make it work. I'm so sorry you are going through this. I'm here if you need me.
