As baseball fans are aware, the Atlanta Braves got blown out by the LA Dodgers in Game Three of the NLCS tonight.
The Braves still lead the NLCS two games to one, with Game Four Thursday night at 8 pm Eastern Time.
Even though I was highly disappointed with how the Braves played on Wednesday, I purposely said nothing.
As I posted over the summer, I belong to a vanilla chatroom about baseball that I absolutely love.
I almost got the boot from there simply for saying that a Braves pitcher gave up a "Fat Pitch" ( A Home Run in baseball talk)
Tonight, as disappointed as I was with the Braves play, I purposely posted nothing. I had learned from my previous experience, and did not want to get banned.
Other fans were very upset and started posting negative comments.
The head chat host, mod on there, is a wonderful guy. I truly like him a lot.
I could see he was getting truly annoyed at some of the comments other fans were making,. accusing fans of "Negativity"
Hopefully it was one bad game, and the Braves will rebound on Thursday.
Although, with Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw pitching for LA, and the Braves starting pitching being short, I have my reservations.
The Braves had two stunning wins in the first two games of this series. On a ninth inning homer, Monday night , and then nearly blowing a 7-0 lead in the late innings Tuesday night, before barely hanging on to win 8-7/.
I personally think that this is going to be a long and very interesting series.
I also love watching this because it completely allows me to take my mind off life for 3-4 hours.
No complications, family drama thoughts , thoughts of seizures, etc etc.
Just baseball, and I lose myself in the action of the game.
I can honestly say that Monday and Tuesday nights were the most fun I've had in the year 2020.
Hopefully, the interesting series will continue, and the final result will end up in the Braves favor in the series. (As most who know me are aware, I'm a big Braves fan)
