Situation is this.
Nothing to do with my relatives.
A "Friend" who calls/;called himself my "brother" T. T is the guy whose mother died last summer.
T's friend/"brother" "J"
And Mitch.
J calls Mitch. Mitch cant talk. Maybe Mitch is a bit short on the phone due to being distracted. I think by an email to a job position, or an upcoming interview.
Mitch gets a nasty Email from T, T berates Mitch for Mitch's actions toward J,
Since last summer when his mother died, T has been giving me putdowns. Mitch sends T an email saying to T. "T, this has been going on since last summer. I did not want to say anything until now because I know its been a rough year for you. I understand you're upset about something I said to J Let's discuss that issue and how we all fell, without the putdowns.
Next thing A phone call between T and Mitch. Mitch is then told J is on a 3 way call. Fine. Mitch says. "Fine, if all of us are upset, let's air this out in the open like civil adults, calmly"
Next thing Mitch knows, J screams at and berates Mitch. J goes on, not even letting Mitch get a word in, or changes J's delivery when Mitch says let'/s discuss calmly like adults. J then says "Fuck You, Mitch" and slams phone.
Leaving Mitch again on the phone alone with T. Mitch says to T. "Both of you have a right to be upset with me if thats how you feel. You even have a right to tell me off. Neither of you have a right to scream at me, put me down, or shut me up without letting me air my feelings about how you both behave. That is not a friendship"
Mitch asks T directly "From the feelings, and this call today, it seems like you and me should go our separate ways , T" T says he does not want that.
All Mitch said to both T and J is to please talk calmly and civil like adults, and not put each other down.
T and J tell Mitch to "Grow up" Laughable, considering they were the ones screaming at me and putting me down, and I was the one saying everyone has a right to be upset if thats how we feel , but let's air calmly and deal with it.
Thoughts on this? My feeling is this is going to end because T and J only seem to want to berate me, and hear their own feelings, and not mine, which is not a friendship.
