I had a wonderful day today.
I stress "Day" because I dont know what is coming up.
I had lunch with my dear friend Barney at an Asian Buffet in Queens that I did not know existed.
I did not think that those types of Buffets that are/were a "dime a dozen" in Lancaster, existed up here.
It is all the way in another part of Queens, in a completely Asian neighborhood, and most if not all of the people in the buffet were Asian.
The buffet was huge, and the place was packed, with every seat filled, and a line outside.
They had "some " of the traditional Asian Buffet foods that I've eaten in other places, and they also had Mongolian BBQ, which I have not had since I used to go to a completely Mongolian BBQ with three friends in college.
The buffet was costly for lunch, and is $10-15 more for dinner.
It is not easy to reach, as I would have to figure out what buses and subways to take there since I dont drive or have a car.
When I got home, the fun started.
"T" called me.
We ended up talking for an hour.
T said, "Mitch, I come across like an asshole, but it is only because I care so much.
I've tried to drop the back and forth I had with him this week, both of us are too sick, between T's kidneys, my worry about my Dad, and my migraines.
My Dad called twice today.
I know he is extremely concerned about me. He said. "Mitch, I just want to see you get better"
My visit to the headache Dr is Tuesday.
I'm not "afraid" of the headache Dr himself as I've been to so many doctors, and taken so many scans.
I'm fully not expecting them to find a tumor as my neurologist has taken many brain scans, and they have all come up clean, no tumors
I'm probably just overthinking it in my head.
1130 am Tuesday, I will begin to do the search, and the journey.
I just hope that whatever tests they do, will result in them finding what is wrong with me, and hopefully finding no tumors, and the right neds, to finally get rid of these vicious migraines.
My Dsd sounds better, Thank God. Hopefully he continues to improve.
Tomorrow., I take a deep breath, and then, the trip commences
