Last night, I did something incredibly careless, but it was by accident.
I am on calming meds, and Xanax, to help me calm down and sleep.
I was lying in bed, and fell asleep, without taking them.
I awakwned in the middle of the night, felt really sick. I shook a bit, and may have had a mild seizure or blackout, but I dont exactly remember.
I lied in bed for a bit, then got up, staggered to the kitchen, got a drink, took my two meds, and managed to drop off to sleep.
I got a bagel early this morning, and then went back to sleep, until my father woke me with the phone about 8 am.
My Botox shot, which I must have due to the pain for my migraines, is this Tuesday. I must keep that unless I have a more serious or very serious seizure, because the Botox Dr is very difficult to get an appt with.
Thus, I plan to keep this "under my hat" unless God Forbid it happens again.
If there is a second incident, then I have no choice but to tell the Botox Dr, and push the shot back, although hopefully not too far.
I might not be acting prudently, but I am choosing relief for constant pain that is six days away, over one isolated incident that has not happened in a long time.
If the seizure was more serious, or if my Botox Dr was easier to get an appt with, I would let him know, and push the shot back one week, which would not be a big deal.
Yet, any long delay, would be more detrimental than going forth with the shot, when I had a mild seizure a week before, especially if it does not happen again,
Sigh!
Hopefully this was one isolated incident, will not happen again, I will be okay from here on in and can just take the shot as scheduled.
