I must have heard those words countless times by this point, yet they never really hit home til earlier today at the gym. The lyrics, by the way, come from a song by All That Remains, and it was playing on my ipod at the time if you were curious.
Those words just decided to hit home for me this time. I really don't know why, but something finally clicked. It's a good way to look at things, ya know? If you find something, someone, anything in your life that you are passionate enough, why the fuck not just try your best to obtain it? If you fail and you fall, dust yourself off and pick yourself back up again. There are far worse things in this world; you live and you learn. Take the ashes from a burnt past and use them to pave your own road to the future.
I dunno... guess I've just been thinking about a lot of stuff lately. Time's be a'changing it seems... Time to step up or step aside for ol' Chris here. Let's see what happens I guess.
