Hopefully, the old saying of "Good things come to those who wait" will happen, because.. originally I thought I was going to have the big meeting regarding the hopefully mega account next week. Today when I came home, I got an email from my supervisor to the potential clients, stating that it would be another two week wait, until the first of August, before a meeting happens. Sigh! I know I have to be patient.
I had my second meeting with the speech therapist today. She's very nice. I told her how my father repeatedly insults me, and tells me I'm "Fat". She told me I should tell him to shut the hell up.
Now, I just have to spend time trying to learn the new Clear Slide app for work, and trying to keep myself busy. My friend Adam may come out this weekend, and I know I'm going back to the casino, after the $400 win I had yesterday.
I hope my patience pays off. It will make such a difference if we can get this account.
