Let's just say that this week has not been good.
Last weekend while I was watching the Mets and Braves in NY. I was saddled with two excruciating migraines. While the Mets and Braves were on last Sunday afternoon, instead of watching the game, I kept drifting in and out of sleep.
On Wednesday, after something happened. (Best off not discussing the details of it). I got very dizzy on Wednesday night, fell down, and I believe I might have had at least a mild seizure.
I'm on calming meds, and I try to remain as calm as possible. However, I think part of this is that I start getting so upset with the terrible pain of the migraines, it can cause a seizure.
While my neurologist is always so dedicated to me. I think he's reached the point of saying. "You can't call me for every migraine and mild seizure. " I believe he wants me to contact him only if a seizure is serious, which this episode, even if it was a seizure, was not. What happened last weekend was definitely just a very painful migraine. The incident on Wednesday, I'm not sure.
I'm just going to take my meds, try to remain calm even though it's difficult, and see how I feel. At this point, I honestly don't know what is going to happen. I have not had a major seizure since the early spring. Even the incident where I had the serious accident/fall in early April., my neurologist believes that was just a severe migraine and not a seizure.
Hopefully, whatever happened, will calm down, and go away.
