Between Wednesday afternoon, and Thursday night, I had a horrible time.
I had been wanting to get rid of my internist for a long time.
My internist was not only the trademark "Alarmist Internist"
On Wednesday, the monster went over the line.
My now soon to be former internist demands that his patients see him "Every three months"
I was running out of BP meds, so I had to see him.
My weight, 203 lbs. It has basically stayed around 195-200 since my father's life threatening surgery in the spring of 2022.
Right after my internist saw my weight, he started "Lecurting me, almost slamming me " like a prison warden would slam an unruly prisoner.
My BP 154 over 92, all while this guy was lecturing me.
Every other internist would always take my BP twice. Once, let me sit, calm down, and then take it again/
My internist said.
"If this does not go down, I'm going to "Send you to the Heart Doctor" like a threat.
He wanted to take blood work.
My Botox shot is in 3 weeks, and I also need to have an MRI
I said "Okay, let me see the neurologist, and I will come back March 1"
Instead of being supportive , and understanding how serious my neurological issues are
My neurologist said. "You do whatever you have to!"
I was furious.
My father has been extremely concerned about my weight.
We discuss our respective health issues.
I think my father believed I was going to lie to him about my Dr visit.
So as not to get into a fight on the phone, I decided send my Dad an email about the internist visit, but also told my Dad about the internist demeanor.
My Dad called me today, and was understanding.
I'm now working to get a new internist.
In the meantime, T is his usual self again, worse than ever.
T recently got a new girlfriend , half his age.
Since then, he has been worse than ever, calling me names, and telling me "You're a 54 year old man. Grow up, you dont have to ask for any Doctor referals from your neurologist, find your own internist.
T is about to be dumped, for good!
Its been a long time coming, for two years.
So a lot is going on.
In the next few weeks, I have to find a new internist, get my Botox shot, and see about a few other things.
I am working on rebuilding my life, making as positive strides with my health and my life, as possible, and free of T. and his verbal abuse, for good.
I hope to calm down over the next couple of days.
This week between the internist, and T, has been too much already!
