Oh wow, I just had the time of fucking life at my LGBT youth group today! 😀 God, I always feel soooo good hangin' around gay folks my own age and just chatting and doin' crazy stuff. Like today...we played gay Twister, gay arm/thumb wrestling, and gay dodgeball. :
Gay Twister was pretty magicsauce. Surprisingly, I was among the Top 4 out of about 11 people that played the game. But I was out after one of the gay guys nearly sat on my hand when it was on one of the green circles. LOL And the whole time, I was thinking to myself, "Wow, if me and him weren't gay, this would be even more awkward! XD" Because my hand was, like, underneath his crotch at one point. But he's a real sweetie. I just met him last weekend and I'm surprised as to how fast we clicked as friends. 😀 So yeah, he may have beat me at Twister (he was actually in the Top 2 in the game, too), but I totally thwarted him at thumb wrestling. 😈 See, since my hands are so tiny, my fingers are wickedly fast, so my thumb was going all over the place and he could barely touch it. 😀 My other gay friend (Josh) compared my fast thumb to "a 2 year old on crack". 😵 Which is a fair estimation, I guess. And to my complete shock, nearly everyone started tickling each other! 😱 And with my *ahem* condition, that always makes me feel awkward. lol My friend Josh even tried to tickle me at one point, but it ended up hurting more than anything. XD See, that's what always happens to me. Everytime someone tickles me they do it soooo freakin' hard that I sometimes have trouble understanding why people actually laugh when it's done to them. :/ Maybe I'm just not ticklish, after all...
But yeah, that little fiasco happened on the way to the gym (since our youth group takes place at our local YWCA) where we played gay dodgeball! Dun dun duuuun! : More surprises were to be had on my part since I actually held my own pretty well in the games. The reason I say it's a shocker is because I usually suck at anything athletic. 😀 It was a LOT of fun. I think we played about 6 rounds of it and I was pretty worn out by the time it was over. And then we took Josh home because he didn't have a ride and that was that. 🙂 Wow...I didn't think that exercise could be that fun. XD I guess it makes all the difference if its done with people that are a lot of fun to be around.
I also feel pretty proud of myself for finishing a three page reflective essay in about 45 minutes. Now all that's left is math homework. >__<
But I do have a few things to look forward to this week. For one thing, my youth group is going to take a trip to the theatre to see the comedy film, "Death at a Funeral" starring Chris Rock because it has a bit of a gay theme to it. lol Of particular interest to me is the fact that Peter Dinklage is reprising the role he had in the 2007 version of the film. He played the dwarf Trumpkin in the movie, "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" and I'm a bit of a Narnia buff, so I tend to pay more attention to the actors that played in the Narnia films (or any of my favorite film, actually). XD And this weekend is also Tri-Fest week, which means I'll be workin' the cotton candy booth! I better avoid the sketchy carnival rides, though. Those tend to make me sick...amusement park rides don't, but these are so cheap, that they shake, rattle, and roll so freakin' much! O__O The Gravitron is a fun ride, though...I may just go on that one. It's this little circular ride that looks like a flying saucer. You go inside it, strap yourself to the walls, the ride spins around, and then the gravity gets really REALLY intense and if you're particularly strong or small enough, you can even climb on the walls! I've never attempted this since the gravity is just way too much for me...so I just stick to the wall and don't even bother lifting my head. lol But yeah, for a town as small as the one I live in, this little carnival is one of the highlights of the whole year. Haha!
And speaking of intense rides, my video of the day will be a snippet from the Japanese quiz show, Hyakushiki (100% Knowledge) in which two of the boys from my favorite j-pop group, Hey!Say!JUMP (Inoo Kei and Daiki Arioka) are forced to hop on a roller coaster and freak out like little sissies. XD Totally cute and totally hilarious.
