Hanging out with Coots

The term "coot" generally refers to an old person, of the age of 80 or more. I spent some time today talking with my Grandpa, and my Neighbor over at my Uncles house. It was really amazing to compare then to now. And I realized society at large has gotten increasingly stupider!

We talk mostly about people in California, and tornado ally that rebuild the same way every time. And big surprise the same thing happens every time. Do humans not learn?

My super smart neighbor said that If he were to build out there, or even here for that matter, he would build subterranean housing.

I have looked into the idea (prior to him saying that) and all I could think is 'Fuck yeah!!' I love the idea there are so many good things to it.

The way things were done "back in the day" is awesome, and astounding to me. Shit was built to last!! Everything that was done, or just about everything was done to help out everyone.
(My Neighbor and Uncle are only in their 50s/60s, not coots)
I just think it's cool 🙂
