I know I did this last year in the main forum. As she's not a member of the forum, I felt it more appropriate to post this here. Of course, my mom knows about, and sincerely appreciates, all the kind wishes sent to her by forum members during her cancer ordeal. It meant so much to both of us.
I just wanted to make this blog post, to wish a very happy 74th birthday to my dear mom. She made it to 74, and God willing, is cancer free. Twenty two months ago, we weren't even sure if she would see her 73rd birthday, but now, in about 5 hours, she will be celebrating number 74. We plan to go out to a nice traditional Japanese resturant for lunch tomorrow to celebrate.
Happy Birthday, mom, and may you have many more healthy years, and birthdays ahead.
