Ok, so I've blogged about how difficult it is for me to approach people and I even started a thread in general discussion area to generate suggestions for not just myself but also anyone else who have a hard time approaching people. I am truly trying to better myself at approaching people. So far, I have been doing that.
It has always been sending that first message that has always caused me anxiety because I really want to make a good impression. I have been PMing people whom I have wanted to PM before but was too afraid to. Though I still don't know what to say, I do admit that this is something that is difficult for me but I'm working on it.
I have found that so many people are so freaking nice about it. They kind of laugh it off, like 'oh you can't scare me' or 'don't be afraid to PM me anytime.' 😀 I have always believed that this is a wonderful community with amazingly friendly people and so far many have proven me correct. It's a good feeling, sending a PM and getting a friendly reaction. 😀
I still have to work up courage to PM someone but I have been doing it and it's been very cool. Lol.
