I can't go back.

As much as I want to go back and fix what I've messed up in my life ... I can't.

• I can't go back to high school and fix the drama that caused me to lose my friends.
  
• I can't go back and re-do my first year of college.
  
• I can't go back and stop myself from getting involved with someone who I knew was only going to end up hurting me.

I'm stuck with the mistakes I've made and all that is left to do is to deal with it and move on. And that sounds so easy... but as a lot of people know it's probably one of the hardest things to do. I need to do what is best for me--whatever that is. But I can't just wait for it to find me. I should start piecing my life together and getting the most out of life that I can. I guess taking a couple days away from posting, attending my grandpa's funeral, and seeing family I haven't seen in years finally made me realize that if I don't get my act together I'm going to end up 30 years old, alone, and still living with my mom.

I can't keep focusing on the past all the time. I always get stuck regretting what I have done and how I wish I could just go back. I'm too young to be wasting my days away. I just hope I can keep this motivation and actually do something with my life. I hope I can stop being so damn selfish and focus on others for once.
