Hello, blog.
Today was a long day today. 0.0 I had my classes for about two hours. Then when I immediately came home, my Dad was at my apartment waiting to spend some time with me and my brother. I thought we were going to play mini-golf, but we ended up going to Lincoln Boyhood Memorial and then fishing using the catch-and-release method at Christmas Lake in Santa Claus, Indiana!!
Which was fine by me. 😀
The Lincoln Memorial was pretty cool. It made me feel proud to be a Kentoosier.
I forgot that Lincoln spent his childhood and teenage years in southern Indiana (after moving there from Kentucky). So back off, Illinois...Lincoln is ours! 😈
And as for the fishing, I had no idea that it could be so much fun! 😱 Since we released the fish we caught, it wasn't messy like I always associated fishing with. And I actually caught a fish! 8D OMG You should've seen it...it was TWO INCHES long! It was a f*ckin' beast, I'm telling you!
Besides my little guppy (whose mouth was smaller than the hook it clung to lol), I also caught a bluegill as I was reeling my line in to avoid being tangled up in my Dad's line.
...I totally fail at casting.
So yeah, I had a heap of fun today! Very long, but very satisfying and I also got lots of exercise in!
Tomorrow is Cassi's munch in Louisville. You bet I'm stoked for that!
At the moment, I don't feel nervous at all, but I'm thinking I will be as I approach the Cafe. XD
And with more good news...I got all my math homework done for the weekend!
Now all that's left is the mini-paper for Lit class!
And as for your video of the day, I think I'll post two videos of the j-pop group Question? playing my favorite song of theirs "Mezamero Yasei"...because I love sharing my favorite things with all my readers.
