And nothing really has come of it. Now I'm in that wonderful space where I do not have enough experience for the job, or I am overqualified for the job. The overqualified thing pisses me off on the simple fact that a company makes arbitrary decisions on someone it can retain. I find it increasingly ironic that most companies want their workers to be self motivated and constantly moving forward, yet at the same time are militant on getting someone they feel they can keep in their cheap spot for years.
I've not been as aggressive as I should be, and perhaps I made a mistake in not getting teacher certification. I would still be in school, yes, but after this year I could attempt to find a job in the field somewhere in the United States.
I'm not sure if this is what I want to do with my life. I really want to write, but I need to have some money so I can get the research materials necessary so I don't write tripe pieces involving historical eras.
