God, today was tiring. Film class was a lot of fun, though. 😀 We got to discuss The Mask of Zorro and there were a lot of things pointed out about the film that I didn't catch the first time. I'm just a sucker for film analysis. *__*
Although I swear I heard the girl five seats over from me mention the word "Xena". 0.o It could've been my imagination, but it still made my heart flutter all the same. 😛
I was so exhausted when I came home from school today, that I collapsed on my bed and took a two hour nap! XD Pitiful. 🙁
I don't really have anything else interesting to say about today, so on to teh Video of the Day! Err...video of the moment since I've gotten into the habit of making two blog entries a day.
Now watch this video and play the game of "Spot the Mandi" with me!!! 8D Don't worry, it's not like I flash for a half-second or something. lol I hope it'll be easy to spot meh:

Did ya find me? : You get a free beer now!
Okay, so here's the story. Back in 2004, I was a member of the United Methodist Church and attended the youth group there (I was around 13 years old). We did all kinds of stuff like going to King's Island, Christian retreats at Lake Junaluska in North Carolina, workcamps, silly games, concerts, and even white-water rafting. That moment of my life was probably one of the best I've had so far and my youth group leader was absolutely amazing!! And he was just a college kid, too! 😱
*ahem* Anywayz...so yeah back in 2004 we attended this Switchfoot concert at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville. Switchfoot was one of the first bands I really got into. I have all their DVDs, CDs, a few stickers, and two posters of the band taped to the wall in my room. 🙂 My first real obsession with a musical group...and I still love 'em to this very day. Soooo, we (as in me and the youth group) were standing around near the line to get into the venue waiting for a few late-comers to show up and out of friggin' NOWHERE pops this man in a gorilla suit!!! 😱 He gave me a little high-five and yes, that is what you're seeing in that video. Oh, and being the dork I am, I also gave him a little hug before he left us to go scare other unsuspecting fans. 😀
So yeah, I was a total n00b to Switchfoot back then and I had NO IDEA that it was Jon Foreman, the lead singer of the group, that I had just hugged. And the funny thing is that I found out about my little appearance in their DVD, "Feet Don't Fail Me Now" from a fellow member of a Switchfoot forum at the time. I had sent her pics of myself so she knew what I looked like and oddly enough, she was the one who pointed it out to me.
And there's my five seconds of fame!
No autographs, please. 😀
And now I'm off to watch The L Word with my dear mumsy! :
<s>My poor knees...thanks to my stupid flat feet, my legs are weirdly aligned when I walk and the pain just shoots right up to them...gawd, they hurt everytime I stand up! akfjdkfjkdjfkdjfaktueijxlgkdugk!!!!</s>
