Ice, a perfect example how within everything is the worst of evils and the greatest of goods. Right now ice is my best friend, it's been quite soothing the last couple days....😀 Two days ago when I slipped on it, not so much........lol....At leastI can laugh about it at this point. 🙂
So, I'm out of work, which in a sense is nice because I just worked 10 days in a row and I'm run into the ground. Not so nice because my back is the worst it's been in years. It really hasn't been this bad since I first blew out the other disc. My plan was to wait a few days, try to ride it out before going to hospital, and I've done that. Guess where I'm going tomorrow. It's a little depressing but at this point it's just about rolling with the punches. What's the worst they can say, another disc is blown out. The last one already left me face down, trampled in the dirt. Surely I can't be put back there because I haven't even gotten up from that yet...LMAO
Oh man that's funny. Speaking of funny, I have a couple comical pictures that I created I guess. Fk it, I'll post them now. Let me go get my camera....This first one happened at work a couple weeks ago. A weel prior the FRM called to get the dimensions to have this sign made, so I took the measurements and told her what was what. A week later it arrives, $100 sig and I put it up. I didn't quite fit right and was just kinda there. Fast forward a couple days, I'm getting crushed at work, extremely busy and only one person works at a time. So while rushing around I accidently hit the sign and knock it off the wall. No big deal right? Then I hear the f'n paper shredder turn on. I look down and think you gotta be f'n kiddin' me......

At first I was too busy to see the comedy of it all but afterwards, just gone. I swear to ya, I haven't laughed so hard since I was a teenager. I was on one knee crying at the sight of this ridiculous image. All I could picture was one of the regional managers walking in and being like ''How the hell did this happen?'' ....LMAO.... I'm glad I took a picture because that's some funny shit.
Then a couple nights ago I was drinking to take my mind off the back situation and became hungry, it happens. So I had a frozen pizza here that I decided to eat. Well later that morning, around 4 AM I woke up and was still hungry. I'm thinking ''Man, that pizza didn't even fill me.'' The more I thought about it I didn't really remember eating the pizza. Thought about it for a couple minutes and decided to investigate. So I'm fumbling around in the dark and decided to reach into the oven, which was still warm. Much to my surprise the pizza was still in there! WTF! .......

Isn't that something? I put in a frozen pizza and get out an Oreo cookie, it's darker than the frying pan for crying out loud. What was most surprising was it had lost most of it's density. By the time I got to it, it felt more like a rice cake than a pizza. That's crazy.Unreal.
Some other news is I'm building some stocks, it's pretty awesome. Its been fun, I'm working on two different variations. They're coming along pretty good and I'm not in a rush. And that's a whole other thing that I've been working on, planting seeds and inches but that's a different thing all together. Hopefully when I'm done I'll post some photos on the forum. It's been a very invigorating experience.
Some quick music stuff before I go, I'm going to start drinking here pretty soon because the pain is becoming quite intolerable. Still plugging away on the guitar and the vocals. I haven't let up at all. I plan on taking lessons for both here very shortly. It took a while but lately I've finally started to take to the electric a bit more. At first I couldn't dig it because the stuff I was trying to learn on acoustic just didn't translate over. They are different in many ways. Recently I've been doing a lot of scale work on the electric then applying that to the acoustic. In that sense, the electric is like sprinting on a track, where the acoustic is that same track with a foot of snow.
It's been over a year since I started working on this song in particular. Above and beyond, this thing was so far over my head that I didn't even have clue. At some point, I became aware of the depth of understanding that comes with learning a song. It takes such a thorough grasp. Even after a year, day in day out, I'm not even close to mastering this thing. This was hard. At the time, so many factors influenced this thing, where I was personally, the loss of a friend, a lot got tied up in this. I remember thinking, ''If this is the only song I ever learn I'd be happy with that.'' A year later, I have been and will still have to work for this mother f#*ker....lol. Lately I'm amazed my wrists haven't crapped as much as I've pushed them.
That's it, I'm out. I'm not feeling to good. A little music to close it out.....
