The terrible week continues, this time for no reason.
Since January, (New Years) I have belonged to a site called "My Points.com:" It is a site where people can do surveys, earn points, and get gift cards to places like TGIF.
I joined it when my friend Adam was here New Years.
I did not take it that seriously at first. I fooled around with it.
By..late spring I started to take it more seriously, to withstand a rent increase I was getting.
I figured I could do enough surveys to get one $20 or $25 gift card a week. They also have them in amounts of $10. I was right. For most of the last five months, I have been taking it very seriously, spending hours a day on there doing surveys, and getting at least one $10 gift card every few days, or one $20 or $25 gift card every week.
They have a Quality Score which they use to measure how a person is doing with the answers to their surveys. Anything over 100 is good.
They would show it to me periodically.
For most of my time on Mypoints, the score was over 100, which is fine.
A few months ago, the score went down to a 77, which is in the danger zone.
I might not have been paying attention to all survey questions carefully. I do have slight ADD.
It was my own fault. After I saw that, I buckled down. The last I saw the score, maybe a week ago, it was well over 100.
The only reason a person is banned from that site is for not giving , Quality Answers.
Last night/early this morning, I was doing many surveys
Suddenly, a window popped up saying.
"This Account Has Been Permanently Suspended".
After working diligently to bring my Quality Score up the last time, something they saw.
I think that they should have at least warned me if it went down again, like by showing me the Quality Score page again as they did over the summer., and saying.
"Mitchell , if you dont bring this up by X time, you are banned"
I tried to contact tech support to discuss my situation.
Considering that they did not change that page either last night, or all day today.
My feeling is, that I'm banned.
It just ticked me off because there was no warning, and they did not show me the Quality Score again to give me a chance to pull it up. Something I would have done, just as I did over the summer.
I know that there are other sites like Swagbucks . I've joined a couple since this happened.
I dont know if one can actually get gift cards from those.
I've read mixed reviews of my points.
Some people said its very good. Others said they also got banned with no warning.
I know it probably is not nearly as serious as some other things, or the health issues I'm having with my stomach. (That I of course will not post in detail) that are causing me to need to have the colonoscopy now.
