I dont know if this means I'm back, or just for one night.
After being in a trance much of this election cycle, the old "It really matters who wins" is starting to overtake me.
The memories of staying up all night long on Election Nights 2000 and 2004, with both my mom and I getting no sleep on either night, are starting to come back. In 2000, I think I went to bed sometime early Wednesday morning, when Florida was taken out of both candidate's columns. In 2004, I didnt sleep at all until after John Kerry conceded around midday Wednesday.
As most are aware, my area is supposed to get a major storm tomorrow., I wont be going anywhere, so, if this thing is decided by.. Thursday.. I will be watching.
I just spoke to my dad. He said he heard someone on TV saying we will know the outcome at 10pm Eastern. No Wqy, Jose. I dont see that happening.
My friend Barney is coming up to my apt to watch the election. Hes an undecided voter, and is refusing to tell me who hes voting for, although I know its not Obama.
I wont be elated as in 2008 if Obama wins. However,. I can say that the way I'm beginning to feel, I will be angry/upset if Willard Romney is elected our 45th president. Simply put, I think he is wrong for the country.
My feeling, as I've said before, is that we will be in for a ,long night tonight, at least.
