So my Doctor [[And I]] didn't think it was great to jump into Ohio so soon after I got my new medication [[and then had to have my medication switched around!]].
He suggested just taking it slow and working my way up to trips that are that long distanced. Like driving into Greece [[about 30 minutes with no expressway]] and back and see if I can do that without feeling any anxiety.
Then also having someone drive me a longer distance and seeing how I do with that also. It's basically like I have to get comfortable with traveling long distances again. Which in certain cases I am, we're just worried about me having an attack so soon before the meds can have a chance to work.
Today so far has been the first day since the attacks that I've been feeling like I'm "functioning normally" again. I've been doing my normal morning routine, which consists of smoking too many cigarettes and watching re-runs of Dora the Explorer with Daniel while we "fix" things around the house with his tool kit.
I even have a desire to actually get out of the house and *do* something. Most likely involving shopping of some kind, but that in of itself is pretty big as before I was scared to even leave the house at risk of having another attack.
I'm even back to listening to music again. I know it sounds odd, but certain kinds of music I would listen to would trigger an attack, so I pretty much shied away from *everything*
I was listening/uploading a *ton* of techno before all this happened and listening back through it now, it almost feels like I'm hearing it for the first time again. I like when that happens, it's almost like I grow a new appreciation for it.

One artist in particular who has really managed to grab and hold my attention has been Deadmau5. He's a producer from Toronto who specializes in Progressive House and Electro House music. [[Finally Canada brings some goods! ]]
He's had Eight albums out since 2006 and I haven't bought/listened to them all, but I have you-tubed across some of his songs that have become instant favorites of mine.
