I;ve been very good lately, and have been keeping my casino visits to a minimum, with all the work I've been doing. Even after I passed the exam.. I hadn't been going there.
So.. today.. I decided to be a bad boy, and pay a visit to Acqueduct. .
It was almost a disaster.. I'm still playing with the money from the big win I had three weeks ago.
After I had pumped.. $100 into the same type of penny slot that I won the big money on, I finally hit a $150 jackpot on the free spins.
Soo,, that got me even.,. or a little bit ahead.
After that I went to the horses, and had some relatively small but consistent wins.
Normally I take a taxi to the casino and the subway home. However, today was so icy, that I felt it safter to take taxis both ways.
Lunch at the casino, and round trip cabs were $80. I came home with exactly the same amount of money that I left the house with, factoring in the cost of the cabs and lunch.. so.. this means that I won enough to cover my expenses.
I still haven't heard from Jay, which likely means no work on Monday, soo.. I think I'm going to be naughty tomorrow also, and go back to the casino.
My dad is leaving for his vacation tomorrow. Barney is busy. My friend Adam is in NJ, and Maria doesn't work on weekends.
When I was doing nothing but casinos, and losing money ,in 2012, and the first half of 2013, I felt guilty for going. Now, with work lined up, and the big win I had.. I've been going a lot less, and I consider it fun.
My dad said he's going to "Call me from the airport tomorrow". (Maybe to check in that I'm not you know where). He knows I went today, but tomorrow is none of his business.
After that.. I will be home, focused, and waiting for Jay. I'm hopeful of having the situation with work resolved by Tuesday at latest.
