I mentioned earlier that I was trying to sell my jeep. I had placed ads in the Bargain Mart magazine and kept them in there for months, but I never got any serious offers. and then apparently my ad got pulled because I forgot to tell them that I wanted it in there still. even though they said "we'll run it 'til it sells!" East Tennessee liars.
anyway I am very happy about the jeep situation now, because I put an ad up on craigslist and I got three calls with serious offers in about one hour. I even met someone tonight who offered me a cash deal a little after he saw the jeep. the only bad deal about the other two calls is that we are meeting tomorrow morning at 8:00. fuck! that's early. I don't know the last time I was actually awake at 8:00 when I hadn't been awake the entire night. so I got to go meet these guys and hopefully they will beat the offer that I got tonight.
I'm going to miss her though. I've had this jeep for six years, and she's turning thirty this year. thirty! 1979! and she's still managed to hang in there and keep going strong. I'm getting a little emotional. but I think she will be happy that she is moving on in this world to help me survive. and to help me get to NEST. a different chapter in my life that is only possible thanks to her. I don't even remember her name anymore, she's just been referred to as the Zombie since she's died and been resurrected so many times.
so I'm happy. but I'll miss her. I wouldn't have been able to take her to Johnson City anyway. it's a good thing that I have "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" to watch and keep me laughing. great show. hmm, interesting that I had a sentence with "Philadelphia" and "laughing" and I wasn't talking about NEST.
