So, I've been working on this song for about the last couple of months, maybe a bit more. Unrelated to music, but I've been drinking today, I felt compelled to write that. I'm not exactly proud of that, but felt obligated to throw it out there. It is fact after all.
Just music, well, I don't even know where to go with this right now, let's roll with it. Quickly, before my mind drastically finds itself elsewhere. Well, I've spent the last two or so months grinding out this song both on the guitar and vocally. Complete dedication, from a person who is OCD. It's almost been uncontrollably maddening, un-fuckin' real. If only I could type as fast as my f'd up mind went.
I've put so much into this over the last few months. Where to go with this right now? It's a cover, of a cover, by an artist who has been my most influencial musical artist by far. There's much depth too it. Quickly, around the time, or actually before I started trying to learn this song, very close. I had a dream involving an old friend of mine, who was taken before her time. It was very, very heartwharming to say the least.
It was a culmination of things, the stars just seemed to align for whatever this is and this song means a ton now. That's it.
