So this is blogging. Not so bad, I suppose. After a hard week dealing with snow then flooding at my job I can now relax and look back upon things that have come and gone in my life recently.
I am finally rid of the nasty headcold that was plaguing me. The illness wasn't so bad but it has kept me away from seeing my kid. I don't want her to get it from me and she gets enough maladies from the other kids in her kindergaten class. So we talked, or rather she talked on the phone for about an hour and she says she forgives me but we definately have to drive to the store next weekend because she really needs to pick something up. In other words.......she has her eye on something she wants and Mom won't get it for her so I get to buy whatever it may be. I've been down this road before. But it is always worth it.
My birds were fed and bathed this morning and are now noisily still preening themselves, which is good because they are not walking down my hallway looking to bother me for a few more hours.
I sent Crystal Light a pm. After she was extremely helpful and sweet to me last Sunday I gave her the gift of not picking on her as I usually do for an entire week. Well that week is up so get off my lawn, Crystal, you scalliwag!
I was going to call Bugman today but he lost his phone again.
I've been coordinating a few things for NEST in May and have almost everything ready. What am I up to, you ask? Come to NEST and find out. I have the time off arranged and the proper funds so now comes the damn long wait. So now I will just concentrate on what to have for dinner. And wait.
Pretty exciting life, ain't it.
