Whew, made it to Brit Lit class just in time. ^^;;
Soo...where was I? Well, I just recently found out that my best friend since 2nd grade is PREGNANT! She's only 18 years old, too. But it's not really the age thing that makes it troublesome, it's the fact that she was on her way to college before this happened and she even told me that she was gonna wait until she married her long-time boyfriend before even having sex with him. Looks like they both messed around with unprotected sex, after all.
I mean, all this makes me thankful I'm a lesbian, but I really feel sorry for my friend. I mean, I know that most pregnancies are unplanned, but she still wasn't ready for such a bombshell to be dropped on her when she was only just getting started with her life. 🙁 And, I guess in my mind I still don't see her as a mother...just the same kid I've known for 10 years. I am glad that she trusted me with the secret, though. I could tell by the way she told me the news that she wanted to gauge my reaction to see if I was gonna judge her. And I'm not...I'm just in shock is all.
Ah well, hope it goes well for her. She hasn't even been to the doctor yet so she doesn't know when the baby is due.
OH, and I'll be going to this Winter Blitz thing in Louisville next weekend. It's this Methodist gathering my tiny country church goes to each year. I think it just takes place at a few hotels and they have games, skits, music, sermons, and Christian comedians. Stuff like that. It sounds a lot like the thing I went to back in 2004...Lake Junaluska in North Carolina, I think. Or the mission trip to Elizabeth, Pennsylvania that very same year. :O Good times I had with my old church youth group...
And...I got nothing else to say, so I'll end this update with the song "Bodies" by Robbie Williams:

Or if you're not in the mood to listen to shit right now, just pop on over to Jones' Big Ass Truck Rental and Storage:
