is a lot of fun. no matter what you say, or how good you are, it's just a lot of fun. I have only gone and played a few times, but this time was with a bunch of other people my age (early twenties) so it was a little more interesting.
it also helped that we went to go eat Mexican at lunch beforehand and we all had a few beers. I had two Pacificos actually, and I learned that they're not bad. beers plus shooting people is always a good mix. that's at least what my dad told me. I didn't actually do very well in the two games that we all played (about 13 on each team, we all knew each other). half of the the problem was that I played by the rules. some of the rest of us didn't really. but the other half of the problem was that I abandoned a lot of my strategy because of the conversation that we were having beforehand. we were talking about how it's not as much fun when people just hide and wait for other people to come around a corner and shoot them. technically it's not a bad strategy, but it's not as much fun as when everybody is moving around. so my strategy was walk around, don't stop, and shoot in all directions.
but yeah it was a good time. a few of us wanted to put on some war paint, but nobody had anything. so one of us had a yellow hi-liter and we put some designs on our face to glow in the black lights. I had some tribal lines and a tear under my eye. then I drew a nose and whiskers on my girlfriend. we definitely intimidated the other team. we needed someone else with a star around their eye so that the only other person we needed would be Gene Simmons.
and who doesn't want to play laser tag with Gene Simmons?
