Despite the crappy news I learned last night about my brother Travis, I did have a great time hanging out with my friends and my other brother Jason.
My friend Jackie had invited me to hang out with her at the bar last night for karaoke. So as I was getting ready to go out, Jason asked me where I was going. I said to the bar then he asked if he could tag along.
I was a little surprised because we never hang out and I never thought he'd want to hang out with his sister. He's been wanting to get out and do something for a while now and without a license his options are rather limited. Still, I'm his sister. The last person he'd want to hang out with, even if he was desperate. Lol.
Anyway, I told him that would fine. I wasn't going to say no. We were going to a bar so even if he didn't want to hang with my friends, maybe he'd see someone he knows or make a new friend to hang with. He was a little surprised that I was ok with it. He didn't think I'd want to hang out with my little brother.
In the end, I had a good time hanging out with my friends and Jason. He got along great with my friends and he certainly enjoyed himself.
I was even proud of him when he tried to cheer up Jackie (he got her to smile) at the end of the night because her night got ruined by her boyfriend's vindictive soon-to-be ex-wife.
All in all, it was a good night. 😀
