Today, March 5th, is three years since I put my beloved mother into the nursing home in Reading, PA, to spend her final days before passing away, and three years from the day I went to our then apartment in Lancaster, PA to live alone for the first time.
How life has changed for me since that day.
Since that day, my mother suffered her last days, and died. I moved from Lancaster, PA to NYC, and endured a year plus long depression after her death.
I was recruited by a major insurance company, passed an insurance licensing exam after several tries, worked for said insurance company during the year 2014, enduring their regulations of who I could, and mostly couldnt, sign. I nearly landed a major account, and then had to resign my position to avoid being fired.
Since the day I resigned, I've endured a frustrating, nearly four month, job search.
Not to mention, being ignored by my father, more than ever before.
Of course, I'm continuing the job search.
I hope, for once, to catch the break I havent yet caught, to be able to implement the business plan I have.
Hopefully, things will improve. The past five months have been very difficult at best.
