First model of the year.The t26e3,later named the M26 was the first American tank over 40 tons to enter combat. It was given the name Pershing. Pershing was a general.General Black Jack Pershing.
It was better armored,and had a 90mm main gun. It was the ideal replacement for the m4 Sherman tanks. Sadly,this series did not make it into the European theater until the last couple months of the war. It did prove itself well in the Korean War.
This one is a 1/48 scale model.I will have it as a USMC version,during the Korean War.
