This is the decal stage.I use Johnsons floor wax,which contains Future.It is an acrylic blend.The first photo shows where I brushed the areas where the decals go. I then put the decals on,then air brush the floor wax on the whole model.
The main reason for the gloss is,to blend in the fil the decals are on.Also,when adding a "pin wash" to high lite the details,it is better that the wash goes on over a gloss finish vs a flat finish. I have to wait at least three days before I add the pin wash.It gives the floor wax time to fully cure up.
