I'm watching Hoarders. I don't know why, but I really love watching this show. The dogs are munching loudly on kibbles. I miss Lee. A lot. Today was an insanely busy day back at work. I got there at 7:30am, and didn't manage to get out til 5:30pm. Combined with a one-hour commute each way, that made for a long ass day.
We're having our munch/party this weekend, and I still have things to do to get the basement playspace ready, but they're things I really can't do myself. I need to get the right screws (shut up) for the Ikea swing (holds 220lbs!), and figure out how to get that screwed into the ceiling beams. I think I'll need to borrow someone's drill. I also want to pick up a new rug, and give away the old rug. A friend of mine might be giving me a brand new unused dog crate, so if she does that, I'm giving away the one I have, which has some rust. If that doesn't happen, then I still need to paint the cage I have, and attempt to straighten out the bent part of the cage's door. I want it to look amazing.
I contacted a couple of carpenters today about building an X-frame for me. I included photos in my emails, too. One of them wrote back asking me if it was a bed. Ha.
I hate January.
