Medical Faux Pas

It's been awhile since I sat and revisited my blogging. This summer has been insanely busy, but now with fall rolling in, I can take a bit of a breather. Like I did last weekend. I had a six hour+ session with my Dom. It was a fantastic time - we tried out new situations and new toys. And he really got into tickling with gusto! Of course, we had spanking/flogging and some other S/M activities. It was wonderful quality time and some much needed relaxation.

But that's not where the faux pas lies. That comes into play a few days before. When I was scheduling a semi-annual doctor's visit. And was surprised to find they had an appointment available this week - so I took it. Not thinking about the timing thing, I went in for a pap smear, too. Now, as any female who's had the "pleasure" can attest - having your legs up in the stirrups isn't very comfortable. But it's very revealing - leaving very little hidden from view. So imagine my embarassment when my doctor asked if I fell on my butt recently. Because I had a "bruise" on my cheek that was all kinds of shades - green and blue and purple. My face was one shade - red. I muttered something about running into something at work and cursed my lack of foresight! I really need to get a better social calendar!
