Yesterday my Dad had a "procedure " to check the status of his infection.
He had told me he had surgery scheduled for 1 pm, and that he would be finished by 3-330 and would call after.
3, 4, 5 came no Dad.
I texted him at about 530 no answer.
I emailed again at 10 no answer.
I was getting really worried.
Finally during Gardner's newscast shortly after 11 , he called.
My Dad told me that, Thank God all went as planned and he was home.
I talked to him this morning, and he said he felt fine.
Hopefully God Willing this odyessy is over, and he will be okay from here.
I have my own problems.
I posted last year in my blog how I was having "Red" to elude to what it is because its disgusting, I had a colonoscopy where they removed a polyp and all seemed okay from then on.
Until yesterday morning that is.
Yesterday a tiny bit of red.
I've seen that before , so I was not worried.
This afternoon, far more red.
That freaked me out.
I tried calling the colon Dr. He was not in. He is in tomorrow. I will be calling first thing in the morning to find out what the hell this is.
From what I've read and heard its highly doubtful a polyp could have grown back in 10 months.
It is probably an inflammed hemroid.
Hopefully I will just need an antibiotic, and it will go away.
I have to calm down.
The past 36 hours have been too much.
