Today. Monday. Insanely busy. Work was not bad. In fact, it was all right. I was not expecting to see Lee tonight, as she was busy, so I planned to work on cutting out pattern pieces for my costume right in my living room. Turns out I was able to go over and work on it at her place (where she's there to keep me on track and answer my endless questions, and I'm much less likely to get distracted by the phone, laptop, or puppies). So that's a nice big happy for the day. 🙂 It looks like I'll be there again tomorrow, and we've got some really fun plans for the weekend. Then all next week I'll be staying with my ex-roomie's daughter while he is out of town on business. So the weens and I will be crashing in my old apartment for a week, which is kinda dope. It also cuts 10-15 minutes of city driving out of my commute (also dope). I also found out some great news: a very intelligent person I know is going back to school, and I'm really excited about that. We reap what we sow, and God is good.
