Right now I am snuggled up on my couch with both wieners and a microplush blanket (our favorite kind). I'm actually not feeling so hot, my eyes are swollen and I'm pretty stuffy still. I had a huge meltdown last night (mostly while alone), and it was just tough. Do the darker thoughts of your mind ever just suck you in? Where all of the comforts and good things you know are there, and you feel yourself slip further and further away from them for a bit? Then the dark thoughts just take over and convince you they're true.
Okay, so that doesn't sound like a daily happy. But it really was a happy night. We looked awesome in our costumes, and went to a club and danced our asses off. It was a blast seeing what the other people came up with for costumes. I saw at least one breastfeeding Octomom! I'll be honest though, I find the scary masks to be rather... scary... and I have to look away.
Thankfully I didn't see any Scream masks. We saw a few other Alices and Queens of Hearts, but I think our costumes were the best. Ours were classy, handmade, and sexy without being slutty. So last night was fun, but tonight is gonna be even better. I get to meet Lee's childhood best friend (the other one, the one I haven't met yet!), and he's taking us out with him. Can't wait!
So I should sign off of here, shower, go check my laundry, and start packing. I have to drop off the weens at Glen's house for the night, and drop off all of my stuff for the week as well. I'm staying with his 15 year old daughter all week while he's out of town for work. The weens will love to be on their old stomping grounds for a week, and hang out with their upstairs pal Obi.
