Once again, best posted in the blog..
As I posted in the main forum, I went to the Mets-Braves game on Saturday night, with Barney, Peter and Adam. I found something out tonight.
I talked to Adam, and Adam told me that Barney was getting on both Peter's and his nerves with some of the things Barney was saying. Barney is bi polar, and also has Tourette's, so I guess as pissed as I can get with him, I'm used to his outbursts. Now I find out that even though Adam and Peter have no problem with me, they want to spend as little time with Barney as possible,.
Something else odd. Barney and my father don't know each other that well, even though they've spent a little more time together in the past year since I've moved back to NY. When my father came to see me on Saturday, Barney gave my father this big hug, like they were best friends. For most of the 20 years I've known Barney, he only met my father one time.. before my mom's funeral.
Adam is very much a "I'll go the extra mile to please Mitch" friend, because I know how much he cares about me, and, thankfully, how much his parents like me. Adam, and his family, are wonderful people.
I feel badly about this.. but I also know that when one has different friends, they don't always get along.
