Once again, best posted in the blog.
Barney is unreal. The man really needs to learn some social skills.
After seeing him last Sunday, I didn't call him for a few days. It was a combination of my being ill, having to deal with some personal issues, and being pissed about Maria.
Tonight, he called. He told me he's busy Friday with a Dr apt, and Sat with his friend Paul.. Fine.
His "Girlfriend", Sharon, has,, according to him, been blowing him off lately. He told me he's been calling her multiple times, with no reply.
When I found out he was free on Sunday, I asked him about seeing him Sunday. His reply was "I have to see what Sharon's doing first". It was almost like.. he was saying "I have time for everything else.. Paul, my apt, Sharon, and you come last.. if nothing else is going on", which really pissed me off.
He's leaving it open for a girl who is ignoring him, to diss his friend of 20 years. I always keep appointments, unless sick, or something serious comes up.
Had this been me, and a girl was blowing me off, I'd have made firm plans with the friend, and said to the girl "Sorry, didn't hear from you.,. Made plans with a friend.. I either need to see you after the friend.. or another time".
Sooo. when I called him on his behavior.. he quickly hung up.
If he didn't live in my building.. and I had other social contacts, I'd take a hiatus from him. Such isn't an option for me now.
He';s unreal, and hes not going to change.
