After a good night's rest Pokey and I found a restaurant for breakfast and caught up with each other's lives for a while. We then decided to get some supplies to donate for Bella's party at the hotel. So we found a convenient Meyer's and got a cart. While looking at stuff I remembered my camera went AWOL so we went to the electronics department to have a look around, just shopping without intending to buy anything you see. Twenty minutes later my credit card payed for the supplies plus a new camera, new card for said new camera, and batteries for said new camera. A 120 dollar brain fart you may say......and you'd be right. You see, after we got back to the hotel and put the supplies away for the evening I drove myself to Casa del Bella hoping to find survivers of the first evening get together. New camera in pocket I walked in to find Mr. Bella in the kitchen and mentioned my new camera. Then something shot into my mind and I asked about the teddy bears I brought for his kids and did they find anything else in the bag. He said no one had even looked yet so he went to the girls room and walked out with the leather bag that holds my OLD CAMERA. Yes, the lost camera that somehow slid into the bear bag. It is moments like that that you just seem to leave your body just to look yourself in the face and call yourself a dumbass.
Kered, you dumbass.
So, only slightly feeling stupid I took a few pictures and then headed back to the hotel where Classy was making her famous....um....err.....baked cheese and taters stuff for a late brunch in her room, for everybody. It was delicious and the company was even better. Newbies and veterans had a great time talking and getting to know each other. And that is where Lee cornered Natural Tickler and found his off/on switch. Suffice to say Lee won that encounter.
To Be Continued......again
