Basically, I'm drunk enough to want to share my thoughts with the world, but not drunk enough to start inappropriately drunk dialing all of you 🙂 And so, my first blog is born 😀
What's new? Well, I went and looked at an apartment this morning 😀 I recently decided that instead of Michael moving out and me staying at my mom's for 2 months and then graduating and leaving her high and dry, it would be smarter for me to move out NOW, and for Michael to stay here and help my mom out by paying rent to her every month. That way it'd be less of a blow than both of us leaving in a short period of time. (We both pay rent now...so if only one of us stops paying, it'll be easier for her).
So I went and looked at a place today, and it's cute as hell 🙂 Hardwood floors, big rooms - I LOVE IT!! If I get it I'm having a big TMF sleepover and all of you bitches and hoes have to come 😀
What else is new? Um..well basically I'm just really excited to be starting my life on my own. It's scary, exciting, and liberating to be on my own for the 1st time ever. I know that inside I have alot of growing up to do, and I think this is really going to help me in so many ways. It'll be the first opportunity I have to really find out who I am all by myself, and I can't wait <3
Of course, not everything can be peaches and cream. Life does have its own fun little ways of throwing shit into our fan, but I'm not in a mood to focus on the negative. Ultimately, I know that things are gonna turn out okay, and that's what matters.
I've been in an amazing frame of mind lately. I've been very focused on looking toward the future, and I'm so excited to be on my own. I count my blessings every day, and every day I thank God for the time I spent with Michael, and the amazing friendship we've been able to maintain since our breakup. It's truly like nothing I've ever seen. We're constantly supportive and respectful of eachother. This break-up has undoubtedly been the most amazing portrayal of our maturity thus far in life, and I'm endlessly thankful for the frienship we've been able to maintain.
And the fact that he's continuing to stay active in the community is just GRAVY 😀 It's proof, once more, that we're not all about tickling, but about community, comaraderie, and friendship above all else. We really are an absolutely amazing bunch, and we deserve a huge pat on the back for being so fucking awesome <3
